As a lover of history and nature, my stay at Angate Cottage in Wolsingham was a delightful retreat. the cottage, with its Victorian charm and modern amenities, provided a cozy base for exploring the surrounding area. the fully equipped kitchen was a joy to cook in, and the enclosed patio offered a peaceful spot to relax. the nearby Hamsterley Forest and High Force waterfall were perfect for hikes and exploring the outdoors. the town itself, with its historic buildings and friendly locals, felt like a step back in time. I highly recommend a visit to this hidden gem in the heart of Weardale.
